Dr. Peggy O’Neal, PhD
My name is Dr. Peggy O’Neal, PhD, and I have dedicated my life to working towards healthcare diversity and inclusion of health services for the most vulnerable populations of patients. Imagine Health Care, LLC is the result of over 20 years in healthcare working with health plans, primary care, specialist providers and witnessing the inequalities that patients endure due to uncontrolled comorbidities that result in reduced life expectancies and ineffective, substandard care. Education, provider communication and patient inclusion in their care are the key aspects of total patient care. If patients are educated on their disease processes once diagnosed and lifestyle changes are suggested with stair step medication interventions chronic care disease can be managed and life expectancy can be increased.
I stand firm that, if those in leadership do not change the trajectory of healthcare, we will inevitably be overwhelmed and unprepared for patients that do not understand their healthcare needs nor the repercussions of their inaction to their chronic care diseases. I have witnessed many patients suffer and ultimately expire due to a lack of education and care based on different reasons. My life goal is to change as many lives as I can and educate EVERY patient that encounters Imagine Health Care, LLC.
